This role will entail living in with a client for a set period of time. You will be assisting the client with all aspects of personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals and updating records as well as having a fun and enjoyable time with them. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with the client promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.

• Monitoring medical conditions

• Excellent pay rates £700-£900 a week
• Advanced shifts, last minute shifts, flexible working, block bookings

• 6 months UK paid experience within the last 5 years working as a care assistant

• Assessing and planning nursing care requirements
• Providing pre- and post-operation care

Responsibilities include adapting teaching materials, supporting classroom routines, and managing student behavior. 

Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Support:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with specific learning needs, helping them understand instructions and engage in activities. 

Curriculum Adaptation:

• Modifying lesson plans and materials to meet the individual learning needs of students. 

Behavioral Support:

• Assisting teachers with managing classroom behavior, providing positive reinforcement and support. 

Classroom Management:

• Helping with classroom organization, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment. 

Collaboration:

• Working closely with teachers, other SEN professionals, and families to ensure students receive appropriate support. 

Record Keeping:

• Monitoring and documenting student progress, attending review meetings, and contributing to student records. 

Safeguarding:

• Adhering to school policies and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding. 

Basic Care:

• Providing basic care, such as assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and medication administration, if required. 

Communication:

• Communicating effectively with teachers, students, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to support.

Planning and Delivery of Activities:

• Participating in planning and delivering activities, including adapting materials and activities for individual student needs. 

Transition Support:

• Assisting students with transitions between activities, classrooms, and school events. 

Promoting Independence:

• Encouraging student independence in learning and self-care. 

Supporting Social and Emotional Needs:

• Providing support for students' social and emotional well-being, promoting positive behaviors, and offering comfort and support when needed. 

Using ICT:

• Supporting students' learning through the use of appropriate ICT resources.
